CS 31HB.1 Applicability

These Certification Specifications (CSs) are applicable to manned free balloons that derive their lift from:

1. heated air (Hot Air Balloons)
2. a combination of heated air and a non flammable gas being lighter than air (Mixed Balloons, also called Rozière).
